Default Bombe (S.W.Mine) / schwere Luftbombe

    Hallo_Hi

Eine WK1 FliegerBombe : Schwere WurfMine (der SMW 25cm) , abgeändert , mit Leitwerk.

    A WW1 Bomb : built with a heavy Mortar Mine (SMW 25cm), modified with a tail .

Here, a picture showing a bomb dropped by a plane , during the war, on a french village (17 Febr. 191.
The bomb reached the church, without explosion . The priest keeped the bomb, which stayed in the church during all these years. Today also, if you visit the church, you'll see the bomb , fixed on the wall (one or two bombs?? i don't know) .
The town is in east of France, not far away from Germany : Dieulouard
