I have this T 744 tail fuze. It is exactly the same as the AN-M102A2 tail fuze. THe Original text has been XXXXXed over, so I suppose the T 744 is the renamed designation. Does anybody have any info about the T 744?
Thanks in advance,
Regards, DJH

Some source info on the AN-M102A2 can be found http://bulletpicker.com/tail_-impact_-an-m102a2.html
T numbers indicated fuzes in development, so the T744 would have come before the AN-M102. However, the AN-M102A2 previous number was T4E2 (T4 was the model number, E2 is the second modification). The closest match I have found is the T747, the prior model number for M178, M179, and M180 fuzes.
Hope this helps
It does help. Thank you for the info.
